Are you ready to enjoy Train Safari Excursion to Takht-e-Bhai Relics this Eid !!
After overwhelming demand from the people and heritage lovers, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) is once again organizing a daylong guided train tour for females and families to the historic Takht-e-Bhai Buddhist ruins to explore the historical significance of this remarkable site on 13th of April 2024. The joyful day falls during Eidul Fitr holidays, where the trip will start from the Peshawar Cantt Railway Station at 9:00 am towards Takht-e-Bhai.
As the train starts chugging from the Peshawar Cantt Railway Station, the picnickers would pass through a series of stations, including Peshawar City Railway Station, Nasirpur, Pabbi, Nowshera, Risalpur, Mardan, and would finally reach the majestic Takht-e-Bhai ruins.
Throughout the excursion, the participants will:
•Explore the remnants of the 1st Century A.D. Buddhist Civilization.
•Be welcomed by the vibrant tunes of a traditional band performance upon arrival.
•Our expert guides will provide valuable insights about the history and architecture of Takht-e-Bhai.
